Last September, my Communication Theory group ventured to Cavite City. We had the privilege to interview Efren Penaflorida of Dynamic Teen Company. Mr. Penaflorida is a Filipino teacher known for his extraordinary method of educating. With only a pushcart, he was able to help the Filipino youth who have been assimilated with street gangs. Among his many achievements is being named as the CNN Hero of the year for 2009.
